Banaskantha district is largely dependent on farming and animal
husbandry in a grave situation.
In the villages of Border areas .From
Radhanpur,santalpur,sami,harij to
Suigam,Vav,Tharad,Amirgadh,Danta,Ambaji The water scarcity in the areas has
emerged.there is also a lake of dvelopement road. On the other hand, roads and
basic needs have also suffered a lot in the name of development. Political
leaders have to face the anger of the people of both parties during visiting
such affected areas. If the situation continues, will be more critical in the
coming times, especially in the villages. Water crisis has been a major issue
in Banaskantha for years. Till midnight People still need to stay awake while
waiting for the tanker. Despite the Narmada main canal passing through the four
talukas of Bhabhar, Vav,Suigam and Tharad, it is shameful and traumatic to face
water scarcity. breakdown of the canal several time during the year, winter
crop being destroyed simultaneously, Despite of all officials are satisfied
only with paperwork. Despite the arrangements like Wasmo, every ten villages
could not make efforts to prevent water logging by creating millions of liters
of water. The authorities have made their pointless leadership spearhead.

reached Ambaji village Panchayat.,where No official present to hear the
presentation, they had to return. Similarly, with water crisis cattle are dying

water for 15 days. Radha Nesada The last village of Border of Vav Taluka, where difficult to get
out of the peak heat. Drinking water is supplied by the tanker in the ‘lapadiya
bat’ area. Where humans have such a problem of drinking water, what would be
the status of wild animals living in desert areas including animals, birds?
On the other hand, roads and development problems, in Amirgarh,
Palanpur, under the banner of ‘Road Nahi To Vote Nahi’ protest and rallies are
seen. Residents of Hariom Society, Chamunda Society and Dharti Villa Society of
Briseshwar Colony in Palanpur (District Main Center) have banned the entry of
campaigner of Lok Sabha election under the
banner of 'Kaam Nahi to Vote Nahi'. If the rain water problem is not
done before the election, they boycott to vote. The rainwater disposal was
inaugurated on the occasion of the Republic Day celebration of 26 January by
the chairperson of district and Minister of State Ishwarbhai Patel. According
to reports, a team from Nagar Palika and Delhi came, has given the guaranty for work. Villagers of

times, appropriate action has not been taken. So villagers rallied along with
the Sarpanchs of all three villages, expressing resentment with slogan of 'Road Nahi to Vote Nahi'. Danta, Amirgarh tribal areas nothing like development, only numbers
in papers in the name of facilities.
Taking all these problems into disaster management and water
supply,till date of updating on

day. Grass is being transported to 26 grass depots in drought-hit talukas. And
last update on 30/03/2019, Crop Input Subsidiary has been paid Rs 239 crore 21
lakhs to farmers. The Water Supply Department has been found to be inactive and
